Ohhhhh what a few weeks it’s been. It’s the holiday season and I’m SO EXCITED. And the kids are all excited, making me even more excited (if that’s possible). And all of that means that I’ve gone way overboard on the gifts buuuut giving is my absolute favorite thing to do.
I officially listen to Christmas music alllllll the time and Christmas movies are the movie of choice around here. We’ve already watched “White Christmas” 3 or 4 times so I’m thinking tonight might be the night for “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
It’s perfection….minus the kids and their fighting. I don’t remember fighting with my brothers like this but my mom likes to remind me that we absolutely did. It’s nonstop. So if anyone has any tips and tricks for stopping the fighting nonsense, I’m all ears. And on top of the fighting, the holiday crazies are in full force and getting worse. Making for some very long days.
I posted this on my instagram but it’s so awesome, I thought I’d share here too….At Target on Saturday, I noticed a high level of local Police Officers and it took me a minute to notice that they each were walking around with a kid. And they were talking to them about life stuff, asking them questions, and just having some good conversations while shopping for Christmas gifts for them. It was awesome and amazing to be able to witness. In a world full of so much hate, it was nice to see the good.
Are y’all still watching “This is Us?” SO GOOD. The last two episodes…gah…heartbreaking and good and just SO real. I’m a big fan of real life shows that aren’t reality shows (I’m looking at you Bachelor and Survivor). If you’re not watching it…DO IT! Seriously, one of the best shows out there.
I’m living off two cups of coffee a day lately. My sweet Little C finds it amusing to wake me up every morning before my alarm. I’m not a fan
And speaking of Little C…Finally fully potty trained. What an experience. ?
I’m finally back in a good fitness groove. I’ve added more cardio (UGH!) and more yoga (WHOOP!) along with lots of weights. After the new year, I’m hoping to incorporate some stuff on the blog. So tell me…What kind of fitness stuff do y’all like. Workouts? Healthy recipes? Let me know!
