I’ve mentioned this before, but a little over a year ago I started my yoga practice. And it’s been life changing for me. I stumbled across Candace’s blog accidentally and am so glad that I did. I have grown to adore her and business. She is someone who embraces people for who they truly are and really tries to get her readers to love themselves as they are while helping them to learn more about themselves.
If you read her book (which I HIGHLY recommend), you discover more about who she is as a person. You learn about her battle with lyme disease and how that battle has really led her to where she is today. It’s crazy to me how someone I’ve never met can have such a huge positive impact on my life. One of my life goals is to make it to one of her yoga retreats. Because that would be freaking amazing.
So, one thing that Candace does is a mantra box. I’ve seen it a few times but was always on the fence about ordering it. I didn’t need to buy something with a bunch of stuff in it I would probably never use. But as I learned more about the boxes, I thought that maybe I would grab the next one up. So when I saw there were a few of the winter boxes still up for preorder I finally decided to grab one.
And damn. I’m glad I did. One of the things I really love about the mantra box is that it supports small businesses. The majority of what’s inside come from businesses that are super small. So these mantra boxes give those businesses exposure and a fighting chance to succeed.
So I love the box. One of the first products I saw was from Vital Proteins. I literally almost bought this the day before. The 1o oz size retails for $25 and comes with a 20% coupon code for your first order. I’ve been using it since I got it…so 6 days. I just throw it in my coffee and I can’t taste a difference. I’m excited to see how it works over the next month.
Some of the other products in the box include a rose clay soap from The Grandpa Soap Co. that smells heavenly, some Clever Yoga socks which I’ve already used and are amazing. And a really cool yoga strap from Kottle that I’m hoping can help increase my flexibility.
There’s a sample protein powder from Rootz Nutrition that is on point. 👌🏻 And is full of good for you ingredients. And supplements from The Refreshinq Co. that are supposed to help combat stress. Something I desperately need, so I’m excited to try them.
Also thrown in is some Tumeric tea from Numi and Mushroom Coffee from Four Sigmatic. Both of these products are supposed to have awesome health benefits. To round it all out, there’s a sample spice mix from raw spice bar, a sample of Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a super cute Namaslay print, and a $25 gift card to Unbound Box. If you haven’t heard of Unbound box, check them out. It’s a company that really promotes females embracing their sexuality. It’s a really cool company.
I also want to note that most of these companies (if not all) do their best to give back. So not only are they trying to help bring healthy products to the market, they’re trying to help give back to others. Which I love.
So the Mantra box is $49.99 plus shipping and this box in particular had over $150 worth of stuff in it. And it’s all stuff that I will definitely use and am curious to try. I really love that it supports the small business world. It’s well worth the money and I’m really glad that I decided to jump on the mantra box bandwagon. Now, of course, I’m on pins and needles waiting for the spring box to go on presale!
