Can we talk about how it’s already February 9th? I feel so behind on this year already. That might be due to the fact that I was in denial over the new year until January was half over but whatever.
I have all these things I’m trying to accomplish this year and usually what happens is, I make a list, I lose said list, and I do none of the things. So this year, I thought I’d be different. I thought for once, I’d write down my monthly goals and intentions somewhere I won’t lose them and that somewhere is here.
And without further ado…my goals and intentions for February 2018
*Read 30 minutes a day- I LOVE to read. But never make the time. I figure realistically I can get in a solid 30 minutes of read time a day.
*Learn Guitar-I’ve wanted to learn guitar for a solid 3 years now and never do it so I’m starting to learn. Yes, I know it will take longer than a month but for now, just starting to learn.
*Write more-I’m doing better at writing consistently. My goal is 2-3 posts a week and trying to start the book I’ve been wanting to write. Wish me luck.
*Workout 4 times a week-Like I said yesterday, I’m coming back from a solid hamstring injury, so I’m trying to stay consistent and rest when I need to rest. But I feel I should be able to do a solid 4 workouts every week.
*Yoga every damn day-Yup. I feel my best when I’m doing yoga every day. So here’s hoping I can get back into that habit.
*Do more with the kids-The kids are driving me crazy right now but some of that is just because we don’t do a whole lot outside of the house. So, gonna work on doing more with them…more experiences less driving me crazy.
*Yell less-oh man. Hold me. I yell…a lot. And there has to be a better way of dealing with things. So I’m trying.
And that about wraps it up. Not too many goals that I can’t do them and think of myself as a failure but just enough to push me a little bit more. So tell me…what are your goals and intentions this month?
