This weeks challenge is a fun one. Or at least I think so. I think a lot of times we just go through the motion of living and we sort of forget what makes us really happy. Happiness is something we create for ourselves…it’s not something others create for us. I mean, don’t get me wrong, others add to our happiness sure but they can’t make us happy day in and day out. That’s up to us.
So this weeks challenge helps focus on the things that make you happy. I want you to make a happiness list. Write down everything that puts a smile on your face, all the things that you really enjoy. Then, take a look at that list and start incorporating those things into your everyday life.
For me it’s music, reading, being active, yoga, family, adventures, travel, coffee, and food. Oh man does food make me happy. Like legit goooooooood food. And I’ve incorporated most of those into my everyday life. Obviously I can’t travel every single day but a few day trips here and there every month is definitely doable.
So go sit in a quiet place and write down all the things you that make you happy. Do them often and you’ll find that happiness will start creeping back into your life.
